Green smoothies are the easiest raw food recipes...and the most delicious way you can get your family eating raw greens!

Green smoothies are delicious and refreshing. I have three young children and since they were toddlers they have had "green shake" as it is referred to in our house almost every morning.

We change up our green drinks based on what we have available in the kitchen, what foods looked good that week at the grocery, what fruits were on sale... you know real family life. But they are all loaded with raw Spinach and other greens to get our day started off right.

It is a great feeling to know that your kids leave your house for the day with their daily requirements for fruits and at least two servings of raw green veggies--and all from simple green smoothies!

The best part of discovering green smoothies is my my kids thanking me for eating their spinach. The shakes are so yummy the kids really enjoy them.

Another great green you can toss into your smoothies is kale.

Have you ever tried green drinks?

Green drinks are similar to smoothies...they are a quick and easy way to get your "greens" in and they both taste great. A green drink requires a special juicer, but the juice is literally pressed out of the leaves rather than blended together. If you have a juicer that does greens try this green drink recipe!
